Jack Barclay Bentley launch new Parts locator

Jack Barclay Ltd, part of H.R. Owen Plc, and the world's largest and oldest Bentley dealership have today launched their new Bentley and Rolls-Royce pre-1955 Parts Locator at www.jackbarclayparts.co.uk.

First developed in 1993 as part of Jack Barclay Ltd, Jack Barclay's Service Centre in Nine Elms, Battersea was appointed as the world's only authorised distributor of parts for pre-1955 Bentley motorcars. Over a decade later the site continues to be the sole resource for these parts and maintains a reputation for quality and excellence worldwide. Also on offer are parts for all Crewe-built Rolls-Royce Motorcars, Accessories and Bentley branded goods.

With a Parts Locator website already well established on the internet, Jack Barclay's Manager Stan Christofi approached Progress DMS to bring their website up to date. Stan explains, "Our Jack Barclay Parts website was first built back in 2002 and has had very little changed on it over the past 6 years. We needed to update not only the look and feel of the site, which was looking a little dated and static, but also the structure of searching for parts and our performance in the natural search engines. Progress has designed a very clean site that is much easier to navigate and more in line with the Bentley Motors corporate ID, and one that is now better equipped to perform well in the search engines."

Key to the search engine performance has been the creation of individual sections dedicated to the range of historic Bentley and Rolls-Royce models. Users can now select their vehicle model from either the Bentley or Rolls-Royce sections and be taken to a page that not only contains some information about the history of that model and images, but perhaps more importantly to a list of parts specifically for that model that are in stock. Once the part you are searching for has been located, it's then very simple to add it to your quotation basket and then either login or register if you are a first time user on the site. Moments later your request will have been sent to the Jack Barclay Parts team who will then pick your parts and ring you back to confirm your order and post it out to you, wherever you may be on the planet.

With parts stock lists updated daily, the site is now the number one destination for the largest selection of parts for pre-55 Bentley and Rolls-Royce Motorcars.
