Undergraduate Placement Web Design/Developer Positions
We are able to offer work placement opportunities to students looking for a year of work experience prior to completing their degree course. You will be required to undertake challenging and varied assignments, primarily related to our web based applications for automotive businesses.
The work will involve designing and planning websites, developing and adding interactivity to sites, and with an interest in programming to incorporate databases and content management systems.
Skills required
- Website design and build
- Theoretical or practical knowledge of websites and interactivity
- Ability to work under own initiative and in a team environment. Mature, enthusiastic and flexible approach
Specific Technical Skills Desired:
- Web based development (HTML, AJAX, CSS)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, Access) and programming languages (VB, C#, Java)
- Experience in using graphics programs such as Photoshop, or other Adobe products
- Other web based technologies such as Flash
