Berry BMW launch new website

West London based BMW dealer Group Berry have reinforced their investment in their internet presence by launching a revamped website at www.berrybmw.co.uk

The BMW and MINI dealer group first launched their website  with Progress DMS towards the end of 2007, and while it has been very successful in the past 18 months, times have changed on the web, and they felt the time was right to upgrade to Progress' Constructor platform and start to reap the benefits of the improved features and functionality on offer.

The Used Car section has seen the most changes, with the addition of a separate Used Car locator for the Heathrow and Chiswick MINI operations. The Used cars now feature enlarged image views on rollover of the thumbnail, PDF downloads and automatic price reduction flagging. To give them an opportunity to market their Pre-registered showroom cars, Progress built a bespoke manual upload system for them to manually enter cars into the locator.

Elsewhere across the site, contact groups for ease of phone/email contact have been added to each page - these are in turn reported on in the Progress Constructor reports sent to Berry each month. In combination with 0845 call reporting, they can now keep a better tab on the performance of the site, plus have a permanent copy of each and every email coming into their businesses.

The Search engine friendly page naming employed by Constructor was another big appeal to Berry. New Car sections have been set up and optimised to rank highly in Google's organic listings, increasing the free traffic on the site, and with rapid results! Just 3 weeks into the new site, Berry were listed at Position 8 for "BMW Approved Used", Position 9 for "BMW Motability" and Position 4 for "Approved Used MINI"
